Just a quick update. The 20 tooth driven gear only helped slightly. I've only tested it once but it looks like it only got me about 3mph closer to reality (actual 65=observed 72). I'll try the ranger station link in the hope that I can find a toothier gear aftermarket. Thanks, Bob

I agree with Mike. The performance increase you get from a larger throttle body depends on if it is the first mod you make or the last mod. It's all about getting a larger amount of fuel/air in and out more quickly. I'm sure I've given away a little gas mileage but not much... and I still use...

I used 5000s on my '92 for a few years then switched to the IAS as soon as they came out. IMHO, the Edelbrocks perform better on and off the road (and I spend a lot of time off road).
