A while back I saw someone who had a set of tail lights I want. They looked like the stock tails but insted of the turn signals being orange they were clear. Does anyone know anything about these lights?

Today I took off my running boards. My X looks a lot different without them. Does anyone make side skirts for an explorer sport? I've looked at most of the body kit manufacturers and none off them offer anything.

A lot of people have asked about where they can get a hood scoop or a cowl induction hood. Why don't we just see if perry can make one up? I would buy a cowl induction hood for a 96 Explorer.

I like most people have changed the size of my tires, but instead of going bigger I went smaller. So if my tires were 235/75R15 and I went to a 275/40ZR17, how many teeth do I add or subtract to correct the spedometer?

I was thinking the other day about ways to lift an explorer. Anyone thought of fliping the axle under the leaf springs? You would have to get a longer driveshaft but you would get a lot of lift out of rear.

Anyone have any idea how much the T-5 swap costs total? My tranny blew up again and I'm really pissed at the thing. If its not a cheap fix I would like to stick the T-5 in it.

Well, yesterday my crappy mazda tranny blew up on me again ( for the 4th time). It got towed to the dealer hopefully it will a cheap repair, if those even exist.

Today I got new tires for the exploder. I bought a set of 275/40 R17 Hercules HPZ-760's. I am also starting to lower it but means of the reverse torsion twist and blocks in the rear.

What was the appoximate cost of the swap and how many hours did it take?

Now that I have a real job that pays pretty good and has good benifits I'm considering getting the BBK Instacharger. I'm not concerned with the instalation, only with gas mileage and possible problems. Does the power increase offset the cost at all? Thanks.

I think I'm cursed. A couple days ago I was blessed by having my 4WD low planetary gear blow up, locking up my transfer case. This resulted in a broken transmission output shaft. The dealer wants $2,700 to fix it. So it looks like the explorer might be on the used car lot. So my delema now...

In the May 2001 issue of Truckin' they feature a 2001 Sport-Trac with a functional ram-air hood made by pro glass. It looks like the old Cobra-Jet intakes. I checked the website but they said nothing about the hood, I also sent them an e-mail asking about it and any possible explorer...

Everyone always has custom tire racks made for them. Why can't you just take the tire rack off of a bronco II and stick it on an Exploder? All you have to do is drill holes in the vetical support behind the tailgate.

Today I saw a black sport trac with yellow cobra r's and yellow Saleen stickers. Does Saleen accualy make these or is this a knock off?

Does anyone use a Centerforce or Ram clutch/pressure plate? I need to replace my clutch soon and I was wondering if the aftermarket pieces were worth it.
