Fuel pump clearance with 3" body lift?

Does anyone know how tall the fuel pump assembly is in a 2000 Ford Explorer Sport? I suspect that mine has failed and I'm wondering if there is enough clearance above the tank to replace it without dropping the tank or cutting an access panel. With the 3" body lift that I have, there is...

How to: Parking Brake Removal and Installation (with pictures)

Yeah, I'd recommend just doing the entire thing all at once. Also, if you feel like changing your diff fluid and axle seals, the parking brake installation is about 1000x easier without the axle shafts and hubs in the way.

How to: Parking Brake Removal and Installation (with pictures)

I just unseized my lever as well last week. I had to take mine completely out and beat the **** out of it with a hammer and soak it in PB blaster. The good news is that I passed an inspection today!

    Rear Axle Breather Question

So my rear axle breather hose is funny. I'm not sure how, but it usually ends up dislodging itself from the hole in the axle housing. I'm not talking about the hose sliding off the nipple, I'm talking about the threaded piece coming out of the threaded hole in the axle housing. The weird part...

How to: 2nd gen bodylift - PA 883 Bodylift Instructions

I had to trim my front fenders and some plastic from the bumper because my 33s rubbed.

    You guys suck.

Gremlin Graveyard was a lot of fun. I ran it again with a few club members in October the morning after that freak snowstorm.

New Shoes - Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs

RLC Welding made it for me. It's for a 1st gen, but it fits the 2nd gen with a little bit of trimming the stock spare tire carrier thingy.

New Shoes - Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs

I've put about 20k on mine. Done lots of wheeling and quite a few trips from MA to Philly, Ohio, South Carolina, and Canada with them. Driven in snow, rain, and mud, and I would buy another set in a heartbeat whenever these wear out. I still have roughly 70% tread on them.

How to: 2nd gen bodylift - PA 883 Bodylift Instructions

Worked on my 2000 Sport. Only issue is the bumper brackets. You may need to get creative or just buy an aftermarket bumper.

Wheel bearing, CV axle, or something more sinister?

Also, if it is a wheel bearing, has anyone had any experience with these? http://www.1aauto.com/1A/wheel-bearing-hub-front/Ford/Explorer/1ASHS00006/321696/2000 They're about half the cost of the Timkens here...

Wheel bearing, CV axle, or something more sinister?

So I went wheeling two weeks ago, and then my 2000 Sport sat for a few weeks because I was riding my motorcycle while the weather was still nice in the Northeast. Today it rained, and I went to drive it, and I'm getting a pretty nice growl/roar/hum from the front end. I jacked the front end...

    Leaking Cargo Window??

Where did you get the 5/16" butyl? I went around to hardware stores and auto stores in my area but no one knew what I was talking about. I need to do this very badly as my windows leak like crazy and my car is starting to smell like ass.

How to: 2nd gen bodylift - PA 883 Bodylift Instructions

I had no issues with the length of the filler hose. I'd definitely check it as your lifting it, but there should be enough slack.

New Shoes - Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs

I've never had the bfgs, so I cant compare, but i will say that these run better in the snow than anything else I've ever driven. They're siped which is a huge plus for winter driving.

New Shoes - Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs

No wear issues thus far. I rotated them once and included my spare with the rotation. Really couldn't be any happier with these tires for a combo of on and off road performance.

Just got my new bumper from RLC Welding installed!!!

Yeah, I've had zero issues with it. I've towed with it, been yanked out of the mud, and it's as good as new.

    Pic Whoring

I actually just removed the stock flares and filled the holes with plastic plugs from home depot, then painted over the whole thing with roll-on bedliner.

    Question for our Canadian Friends...

Last time I went up to Canada, I had a radar detector with me. I didn't know they were illegal, so it was confiscated and I received a $175 ticket. I'm planning another trip to Ontario, this time without a radar detector, but now I'm driving a lifted Explorer which I was not driving last time...

Just got my new bumper from RLC Welding installed!!!

I'm not sure to be honest. I think that the '02 Sport is basically the same as my '00 except for the body panels, so it probably would, but I can't say for certain.

Just got my new bumper from RLC Welding installed!!!

Sorry it took so long. I finally got outside with the camera to take some pictures today. Here you go: It took about an hour to get it installed and wired correctly. It's also got three red LEDs in it so it can function as a third brake light, but I left that wire disconnected because my...
