    power distributer?

bnichols04: These were built for stereo stuff but you can use them for anything that uses wires. There just built to look cool as well as for function. I haven't seen the Painless stuff so I'd check them out too. Nate

    power distributer?

Lotza good stuff on this site. www.sounddomain.com Here's a link to what your looking for: Distribution Blocks I'm ordering some power cable and the Streetwire ends from them. I've checked locally and other places on the net (Crutchfield, etc...) and the prices seem right to me. Nate

New Trans Pan - With Drain Plug *4R55E & 4R44E*

Bill, Yeah, I loves them drain plugs!;) I guess I'm interested all the features of this improved design, like the increased capacity, stronger, lighter and thicker matting surface (roughly 10 times thicker - .350 vs .030) and the all important drain plug. In the mean time do you have a...

New Trans Pan - With Drain Plug *4R55E & 4R44E*

While doing some mindless surfing yesterday I bumped into a company called PML that makes (or is in the process) of making a trans pan for the 4R55E and 4R44E that increases capacity by 2 quarts and will have a drain plug. :D :D :D www.yourcovers.com/newproducts.htm (about half way down the...

    interior "theatre lighting" effect

TacOmeat I believe your "door jam wire" should connect at the collector, not the base. If you look at the last pictures glc8937 posted and trace the wires the Cap and resistor are connected to the base in series. It isn't until after the resistor that red "door jam wire" is connected. Give...

Pulls to right when brake is applied

How bad does it pull? Violently, or just barely, or somewhere between. My guesses are: (not in any certain order) 1) Old brake fluid/air in the lines Bleed brakes with a quality brake fluid - push out enough fluid through each line until you see the new fluid coming out. 2)...

Oops, I guess it's been a while since I've looked into the picture thing. Check this post for the correct info - make sure you read the whole post (Leebo's first and last post are the ones you need) Dead Link Removed Also Edmunds.com has this pic of a 2001 ST with the wheels I think...

Anyone want some 2001 16 inch wheels?

Do a search on this web site for "photopoint", you should end up with a few that describe how to use it and how to get the pictures in your posts. I haven't used photopoint or posted any pictures, but I remember reading many posts covering the whole operation. Shouldn't be to hard.

    General Ameri-660 - any good?

I've never been to impressed with any dealer here in MPLS. Due to the law of averages there has to be a good one somewhere in the area, but I've never run into one and no one I know has either. When stealers get to big they seem to loose sight of customer service, at least anything this...

HOW CAN I TELL IF MY SHOCKS NEED TO BE REPLACED????

As far as when should the stock shocks be replaced, my answer would be 0 miles. The stock shocks are so inferior to almost any aftermarket shock that I feel you should replace them as soon as you can.

    Monroe Reflex shocks any good?

I installed my Monroe Reflex shocks about 10,000 miles ago and love them. I noticed an instant improvement in ride quality, cornering and, most importantly, better braking. The Exp nose used to dive so much during braking it felt like I was going to rub the bumber on the ground. If you do a...

Best tires off of Fords "approved" list?

Ford's money = Michelin LTX M/S (And they rate well with The Tire Rack's customers - http://www.tirerack.com/tires/michelin/mi_ltxms.jsp ) My money = BFG AT KO's

    General Ameri-660 - any good?

Yeah, I did call a few dealers in this area and they have the same tire. There was one dealer a hour and a half away that had some Goodyear RT/S's, but I don't what to drive that far (more of a timing issue with work than anything else).

    General Ameri-660 - any good?

Fundzzzzzzzz! My bank account is a little small right now for tires. I'm in the early stages of buying a house, so I'm saving all my spare pennies for closing costs. And a $500-$600 charge on a credit card won't help qualifing power. I saw that Ford has a few other "Approved" tires on...

    General Ameri-660 - any good?

Ford wants to replace my Frightenstones with General Ameri-600s. Are these tires any good? They look like a damn highway tire not an all-terrain tire. What's up with that? Is Ford trying to say that I shouldn't take my Exploder off the road, or is it the fact that highway tires are normally...

where to get plugs and wires

97bignslow - Check this post for plug wires. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=18644 Other people have used Splitfire and Jacobs with success, I just prefer the Mangecor. As for plugs I just ordered some Bosch +4's from http://www.wrenchead.com for $5.19...

    Magnecor wires

Thanks for the info Ray! :) I called Magnecor to order the wires and they said that due to being busy they would not be able to ship the wires out for about two or three weeks. :banghead: I asked if there was any other way to get the wires and he suggested a place in CA called Orange...
