Regarding rust --...Well, my friend's 98 infinit qx4 doesnt' have a spot of rust on it & its winter driven... Actually lemon aid gives ford ex a 'not recommended' rating!! :eek: :eek:

I recently checked out a few 2001 Explorer sports etc. that left me with a few concerns... Has there been a 'lowering' of quality of the years? It seemed that 2001s had a serious amount of plastic parts & was already rusting in the same spots as my 93 x sport... AND - the plastic "arm"...

First gen handling was always great in my opinion (rollovers?? what rollovers?) My question is: -- How does second gen (1999) handle in comparison to first gen!!!!! :o :) :thumbdwn: :thumbsup: Do 2nd Gen's handle well also!?!?! Thanks PJ

Thanks to all responding. :D My 93 Ex Sport has taken a fatal hit and now must be replaced. So I'm hoping a 2nd gen Ex Sport is the answer. I hope the tranny's are good to. I replaced the tranny on my 1st gen just 6 months ago and now it sits... :roll: Thanks, PJ

I have an ok HU, I did the amp bipass to get rid of the buzzing noise that came on with the new HU. The amp bipass solved my noise problem, but I have no sub - which I find makes a huge difference... Any suggestions on a half decent amp? -- I don't need to go deaf, just to have my sub back...

That did not matter. They simply would not sell me the amp bipass. They introduced some guy as an "expert" - please. Totally rediculous trying to con me into wiring my whole truck. Best Buy should be Best Con :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: or Best Liars

Best Buy will most likely lie to you and tell you that you need to replace all the wiring in your truck. I have the same problem, went to best buy & asked for an amp bipass harness. Then I was lied to and they didn't even sell me the harness even though they had them in stock... :fire: :fire...

Yeah - no holes under the side molding (on 93 sport), but a pain to get all the adhesive off. I ended up taking the side moldings off, sanded the pain "line" between the black upper half and dark grey lower half, and painted the lower have with black rattle can paint... The result is...
