just got a stock explr and want to upgrade it to be able to make the Rubicon run.Are the stock axles worth building upon? Is a 2" lift capable or do i need to make it 4"? Basically what stock component needs to go first?

Is this something i should upgrade for i take it out off road? i dont plan on nothing to serious as it just stock (for now) previous owner only used it in the snow, and to go back n forth a bit to get out of it

what one should i get? the KYB is cheaper, but is it a good quality for off-roading? i dont want a shock that will wear out to fast, since i am on a fixed income, i dont mind spending a lil more for quality n reliability
