Readjusted today. It sat an inch lower on the passenger side. The bolt had backed all the way out. The end of the bolt was even with the top of the cross bar that it threads into. The driver side was fine....but that was the side with the new bolt. Maybe the problem was that the passenger side...

Is it necessary to loctite the bolts when you do a tt? I noticed the passenger side is 1 inch lower on the right front. I check the torssion bolts and the driver side is normal. But on the passenger side it looks like the bolt has backed all the way out and the part that the bolt end touches is...

Picked it up this afternoon. $159 out the door. Tranny was serviced and tcc solenoid installed. Drove it to work and so far so good. The owner of the shop didn't fix it, one of his other workers did. He said everything looked ok but the way he talked he's not impressed at all with this model...

Had it checked and the guy said it showed it was the tcc solenoid. He ordered the part and I'm supposed to take it Wednesday. Said they would service it, replace the solenoid and adjust the bands. Fingers are crossed....

Lol...so what are my odds that this won't be a bad fix. I don't have a bunch of cash to put into this tranny. Especially sunce I just put a set of Mickey Baja MTZ's on it.

A bud at a garage checked it and said it showed the torque converter solenoid was stuck in the off position. Didn't get the code from him tho. Went to a reputable trans shop and the guy was kinda baffled by my story. He said a solenoid doesn't come back from the dead. Anyway it did it again on...

got in it and left work. hit the highway and just eased up to the speed limit and the light went out. 35 miles and never came back on.

It's got the v6. And yes I can feel it shift..... Ill try to pay attention to it on my way home in the morning.

i just bought a new set of black procomps and the center cap is chrome and i think i want them black too. what would be the best prep to paint them? the caps have some small details on them and looks like it would be hard to sand those places. i have access to a small sand blaster at work...

i'm wanting new wheels but not sure on the bolt pattern. the link above says 5 x 114 but if you goto sites that sell tires and wheels some will say 5 on 4.5. can i just order the 5 on 4.5 be ok?

i wondered that too Shadow. will the aal and shackles be too much lift since you can get almost 2 inches in the front from the tt? i would like to do the aal too but i dont want it to be higher in the back and be noticable. your rig looks perfect 99ex22.

i went out and looked at my x again and the bolts are the same length. as you tighten the bolt it will move the part at then end up into the keyhole slot. well on the right side it looks like it would go up another 1 1/2 - 2 inches. on the drivers side it looks to be about as far up as it...
