Tire comparison: Interco's TrXuS MT beats Goodyear's MT/R [News at 11]

Wow, old thread.......... October of '04, I put 31" Trxus m/t's on my wifes 94 Bronco. She absolutely hates driving in the snow to the point of being scared. When the first snow hit that year, she was totally amazed at how well the vehicle handled the snow/ice. Prior tires on there were...

Replacing the Alternator on a 95 Buick Century?

It's just a matter of how it is bolted to the engine. A visual inspection IS necessary. Once you look it over, you should be able to tell where the bolts & wires are. If it's not too clear after that, maybe you can get a buddy to help you out. And yes..............you can use a ratchet strap to...

Replacing the Alternator on a 95 Buick Century?

It's not too tough on those. Behind the alt, there is a rod/bracket attached from the alt to one of the upper plenum bolts. There might even be a plastic power steering line retainer over the stud on back of the alt. If so, the nut that holds the plastic piece on is 10mm, once that's removed...

Here ya go http://www.4x4now.com/trcoic.htm The first mile is a constant rock crawl. Most of the rocks are about a foot in diameter. Some bigger, some smaller. It has the possibility of eating driveshafts & diffs. At least one locker would help greatly. They say 33's are the minimum you'd...

Anyone know where to get the Skyjacker 6" lift?

Just get the front 6" kit. Do an SOA on the rear, keeping the stock leaf springs. They flex really well. Weld lower shock mounts (easy to fab up with angle iron) to the sway bar brackets on the diff keeping the stock rear shocks. It works out really well.
