Update... I disconnected the MAF sensor.... It didn't cut off so most probably I have a bad MAF... Funny thing never had a check engine light. Plus I can't scan it anyways I plug in ny scan tool and it doesn't connect.

I tried priming the pump and still had the problem ether way going to test the fuel pressure. I have a suspicion it has a cheap fuel pump. I bought the Ex used and was tould she had a new pump... I hope its just spark plugs or some thing simple cuz lowing that tank is going to be a pain lol.

UP DATE: put on a gasket on the IAC stillba lil hesitant to start but not as bad as before its much better next are the plugs.... Thanks everyone for the help.

Has anyone done an LED fog light conversion yet I can't seem to find the right bulb for it I know the bulb was H1 which goes into a connector/socket that connects to the harness but the LED bulbs that that I see don't work that way they usually just have two wires and can't be twisted on to the lamp

2000 4.0 ohv with 111060 miles

Check it it has No gasket hopfuly thats the problem.

Any one with the 4.0 OHV engine? Searched but found nothing. I'm having trouble with the engine staring first time I turn on the ignition it cranks and does start the second time I triedy it starts fine the engine idles fine and runs fine it's just having trouble starting when cold.

UPDATE bought a new MAF senor and all is good now engine doesn't cut off and got power back thanks all for the help

Heck no stop leak ewww lol Yes that's it I checked AutoZone and the have a refurbished pump for 45 plus tax. Also checked rockauto about the same price not including shipping. I think its better to ne safe and replace the pump I thought the pump was alot more expensive.

My 2000 4.0 shoc has a powering leak. It seems to come from where the power steering reservoir and pump meet. do I have to replace the pump and Reservoir or just replace O-rings? BTW the reservoir seems to be loose.

I just bought a 2000 xls 4.0 sohc explorer for cheap $500 she has a Powersteering leak but what has me worried is a loss of power and some times the engine just cuts off before take off btw the battery is bad but don't think thats the problem any help will be greatly appreciated.
