Those can't be programmed; as far as I know only the OEM Ford fobs have the 48 digit character that's needed to program it.

I saw that post too, haven't tried it. I ended up getting an adaptor with IDS and got it done. If I remember right, the guy on the post said he pressed one of the buttons and got it working. Only issue he had apparently was that the car wasn't honking on lock, which is a Forscan setting.

I don't think the vehicle will give you any message for a fob with the PIU. Try changing the battery in the keyfob, if that doesn't work then it wasn't programmed properly.

When I took the OEM mounting plate out there were still the holes to mount the console brackets; they bolt in. I did have to cut some of the rubber floor away, but fit perfectly fine into the car and the console. The brackets I got were CA5Z-54045B36-A and CA5Z-54045B34-A.

The toolbox is for IDS, not FORScan. They're separate programs. You can't program keyfobs with FORScan.
