sometimes the fuses look good but are actually bad, try replacing the fuse you think may be the culprit (SP?) with a fuse you know is good...

i say take it off carefully so you don't break it, if your motor starts to overheat afterwards, just put it back on

i'm saying there could be a broken component inside, leaving it to be stuck in the locked position, even though it reads being in unlocked position

even though the switch on the driver controls may say that the windows aren't locked doesn't mean theres not something wrong w/ the switch... basically even though the controls say the window's aren't locked they may still be locked...

use a screwdriver and pop off the little screen infront of the speakers, then the speakers are right there, they are simple to replace

i know that the explorer should, according to the manual, let the windows work for 5 minutes after the vehicle is turned off, and the doors have not been open, that' how it goes..... at least according to my manual...

are you plannin on replacing all the coolant, brake, gas lines w/ new shiny colorful ones? because if i was doing a project like this that's what i would do

i'm not sure i the sohc is in a 96, but i know for sure the ohv and the 5.0 are

heres my plan, since i believe there is already a relay for the starter (because the wires for the starter on the ignition are so small) i was just gonna take the wires for the starter off the ignition, and run them to an instantaneous switch, this way all i must do is put the key to run, and...

there are three motors 4.0 ohv, slowest most reliable 4.0 sohc, fastest v6, less reliable 5.0 v8, more power, all wheel drive

i did wanna do it so i turn the key to run and then just push the button so then i have the protection of someone not being able to jump into my car and take off without the key so am i right as to how to do it....still using the key?
