well i found out my balljoint is dry so im going to grease it see how it goes. But i am still wondering about the vibration and exhaust? and im getting a catalyst system below threshold code anyone have any idea if it is just a o2 sensor or the whole cat

only problem is the bottom balljoints are new i might try to grease them maybe they are just low on grease. I have another question? I have the 4.0ohv engine in mine and i just put a 40 series on it sounds really good but it seem like when you get on the gas it sounds really raspy in the engine...

Ok i have a 1995 xlt and it is all stock other than air shocks in the rear i have a noise coming from the driver side sounds like a pop when i turn hard to the left and you can feel it driving in the steering wheel. My girlfriend thinks im nuts but i swear there is a noise i checked the bearing...

i did the dome light this past week i am very impressed i purchased prewired leds and i will not complain i will get pics up in a couple days

Thanks for the reply i just did seafoam today seemed to help out alot i cleaned the iac too it seemed to help alot so i will see how it goes. It seemed like when i was driving too and let off the gas the idle surged which made me think it was the iac so i cleaned havent driven it since cleaning...

anyone have any ideas?

Ok i have a 1997 ford explorer with a 4.0ohv engine i just replaced the upper plenum gasket and now it has a rough idle under 1000rpm it is like it has a leak somewhere but once you drive it runs fine it is only on the start up if anyone could please give some info i would really appreciate it

the 1156 bulbs wont do you any good in the explorers you either need 921,3156,3157 those are the light bulbs you need

It works awsome its a little different haveing the pedel a little higher than brake but i can adjust lol

it could be low on refrigerant(sp) r134 put a gauge on your low side and see if it is now low

yea i looked at it and they said the same thing you said maf sensor so i am going to try that and change the fuel filter! and they i checked the upper plenum and it didn't have a leak i tried the carb cleaner trick and it didn't do anything lol. But i do appreciate your help thanks again:thumbsup:

ok i did the plugs and wires so one thing down havent checked the maf. where would i first check on vaccume leak i dont see any cracked hoses? and the egr tube is metal so is that the tube your talking about?

ok i have a 1997 explorer i checked the cel at my work and it pulled bank 1 system too lean and bank 2 too lean and it also says catylyst(sp) system efficiency something and every time i come to a stop it seems to vibrate and run a little rough sounds like it idles up and down and the glove box...

i second what ^ he said sounds like the neutral saftey switch just quit working

ok i pretty sure some of you guys have notice when you turn on your turn signal the buld by the grille and the one by the fender blinks but the one in the corner doesnt! I was wondering has anyone done the mod of making them all blink? or making the 2 lights blink and the one light do opposite...
