Squeaking/creaking from rear end
I have a similar creaking/squeaking issue with my 2015 XLT. The shocks and sway bar links were original with 130,000 miles. I changed them out and sprayed silicone (per Scotty Kilmore) on all the rubber bushings. I've used the silicone spray method on other vehicles with varying results. The...- Professor_Tomorrow

1999 Explorer Axle Shaft Replacement
So this is basically a part two to my wanting to replace rear end post of my truck. The main issue is my rear pass wheel now wobbles after I spun out due to a blowout and hitting a curb. A lot of people said to inspect the axle shaft itself as opposed to replacing rear end. The issue is the diff...- Arissett

Rear End Replacement 1999 Explorer
Alright so awhile ago my tire popped and I completely lost control of the truck. It spun into a curb and I went from 30 to 0. Took awhile to replace what was broken on this rust bucket especially since I’m learning about cars as something breaks. My issue is now my passenger rear wheel wobbles...- Arissett

Thoughts on a rear end noise?
Hello again its been a while (good thing I suppose) but you guys were helpful before so I have another question for you. I recently did a tire rotation to see if my front end wobble/steering wheel shake at 65+ mph was due to worn tires (did ball joints a few years ago and never got an aliment...- jakegator

Any idea what gears I may have in my rear end
I drive a 1999 ford ranger xlt 4x4 it's lifted 3 inches and has 33s on it, when I'm driving at 60mph my rpms run right at 2100, so I looked at the door tag and it said I have 3.73s but I looked at my rear end and my tag is gone, so I believe it has been regeared before I bought it- Missourimuddin98

2004 Explorer XLT - Rear end problems?
I recently purchased a 2004 xlt and yesterday I got a screw in the rear driver side tire so I took it off to have it plugged.
