00 4.0L Ranger valve problems.

Hello nice to find a place where folks can get together and share information.
I just recently bought a 2000 ford ranger with a 4.0L V6 in it I knew before I bought it that it had engine noise. I just wondering if anyone else has heard of the 4.0 having valve seat problems or cylinder head problems. Any advice or information would be helpful. Thank you Paul 1967

is it eatin antifreeze? and if u want i have the 4.0l OHV heads sittin in my garage if u have the ohv and wanna buy em

This engine is a very noisy motor compared to the Pre 98.. Could just be the plastic intake, my 94 was very quiet motor with aluminum intake..
