Would you guys recommend or not recommend doing the aftermarket forged torsion keys ie like readylift or truxxx over the stock keys? Or just crank the stock keys to 2"? Either way i got a set of the Truxxx forged torsion keys, really nice product and i didnt pay anywhere near the retail price of $230. They're much more heavy duty and from what i've read they hold up better than the stock cast keys. The big hassle is replacing them, looks like alot of work. Any suggestions?

Quick question. Dont judge me, I'm just being curious. Is it possible to use a rear lowering kit on a sport trac in combination with a lift kit like the Body lift? I saw something called a block kit that lowered like 2 inches and it just had me thinking..? Anyone know ?

I don't see why not. A body lift will have no bearing on what you do to the suspension.

Carolina squat, here I come!! Hahaa I'm seriously thinking about this. Everyone's gonna think I'm stupid for lifting and lowering, but it'll be alright.:D

I've never seen that done. What's the point? Not in a demeaning way, just not sure what you're thinking.

Ok, looked it up...still not sure why someone would do that, though. I've seen trucks like that around here, but I just thought they lifted the front end higher than they knew how to match in the rear. Is it just a look that's getting popular? New to me.

yeah its kinda weird. and yeah its getting real popular around here, unfortunately, it doesnt look good on all trucks, yet some people dont understand that. haha but i think the sport trac could rock it
idk if there are any other options to doing this other than the TT, is it possible to put longer shocks in the front than in the back? ive heard it of people doing that also.

thats what i was thinking when people told me. so i guess not. i need shocks anyways. well ill get back if i make up my mind on this.

Can anyone tell me whether or not you have to do a motorlift to install this performance accessories 3" body lift?

No. You can download the complete installation manual from their website so you can see all that's involved.

Nope, the only thing in the engine bay to modify is...

The kit comes with brackets to lift the radiator and the steering shaft extension.

here's mine doing this new "carolina squat" thing, although mine is unintentional with 4 wheels/tires in the back :D

And zip-tie the hoses away from the pulleys (not included in the instructions).

Yep, that too. Thanks Hugh.

This is my Trac with the Pittsburgh Squat " with alittle help from 2,200lbs of concrete block".

Man do I need to replace my leafsprings. Too many years of hauling everything under the sun, towing my trailers and show truck to shows and offroading, I guess.

Nice looking truck CityBoy, haha and nice Jerry. yeah i suppose my leafs are in somewhat healthy condition. hah hell, theres no telling, everything else under the body is shot, why not the leafs lol.

Going to start the body lift today, hope i don't run into any problems. I'll post up the pics later.
