Transmission is on it's way out. Slow engagement into forward gears, major slippage.. I'm guessing hardened seals and some cooked clutch packs.
So, I'm going to have a friend of my girl's swap another 4r70w into the truck. Is there anything special we need to know, or is it just a straight up tranny swap?
Also, I think I want to change out the TC too, because I was having some harsh shifts out of OD since I got the truck, so I'm not terribly trusting of the TC either. What's a good TC to get? or should i just search a JY?
