01 explorer sport tailights

Hey guys I am looking for a set of taillight like this, but is it just me or does it seem like these lights pictured WILL NOT fit my 01 sport.

I don't think that is right. It looks like those go on either a Sport trac or a Full size Explorer.

The guy has a very good rating on Ebay. I'm think he would answer your email questions RE the fitment.
Looks like a nice light and the price is really good.---Get me one too...

They definitely look like "Sport Trac" taillights, not "Sport" truck tails.

BIG difference.

I don't think I've ever seen aftermarket tails for '01+ Sports. Tint em!

They make them, just generally expensive. I've already tinted them, but don't think I like them on a blue truck. I would trade them in a minute for some altezzas. *Rich wonders* "If only I had a black truck"

I have yet to see a pair of Altezzas I like on any Explorer. I had tinted tails on my old blue Sport and actually liked them:

They didn't look right on my Green Eddie Bauer, so I just stuck with the "candy apple mod" on my current set (not applicable to you since you don't have amber in yours).

i found some on ebay cheaper than 260 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-0...4QQihZ019QQcategoryZ33716QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem and they are for 01 - 03 explorer sport, and btw the ones you were looking at were for 02 - 05 explorers, the sport trac are the taller and skinnier ones.
