Hey guys. I recently put an '01 Ranger engine into my '97 exploder. They were both 4.0L V6 SOHC. All I used from the Ranger engine was the block itself and kept the exploder intake and emissions stuff on it.
When the vehicle is in Park it idles fine and sounds good when you rev the engine. When you put it into gear it has a rough idle and no power when the throttle is open and has hard shifts. It recently put up a P0715 code but I think that has something to do with wiring.
If anyone has ANY ideas or anything please let me know. I have put a lot of money into this truck and auto shops won't even take a look at it =-/ Thanks in advance!
