Hey Guys,
I bought an 01' job2 S. trac that came with a bad front driveline. The pin in the cv joint is bad so the repair is pretty expensive. I have searched the local yards for a sport trac driveline but not had much luck.
Will a 4.0 explorer front driveline work? The yard thought it would and sent me one but it is the same as the one in my 5.0 explorer so either they pulled the wrong one or it will not interchange with my Sport track.......
It looks like some 98-01 4.0 explorers came with the 55R55E trans which is what my trac has.......I assume they would have had the same transfercase as the trac also?
