Control Trac front driveshaft removal

I have searched without a definitive answer. I am trying to narrow down the source of front end noise/vibration and would like to take of the front driveshaft for awhile. (Being in Tucson helps minimize the 4x4 neccessity!) I have seen the posts regarding AWD front driveshaft removal but not any regarding Control Trac 4x4 front driveshaft removal. Will I be okay? I know it is an electronic beast vs. the AWD mechanical aspects. I just want to be safe and not mess the bugger up. Thanks...

no problems that i can think of, just make sure you mark the connection points so you can get it back together right so it wont be unballanced

Thanks dman. Any more opinions or answers to affirm dman?? I just want to make 100% sure I will be fine..
