Question for all you audiophiles... I'm looking at installing audio/video upgrades in my '02 XLS and I have a few questions...I have the upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo.....
1. Is there a factory amp with this setup? From info I've gathered so far, there is?
2. If so, where would it be located?
3. If so, what are the output specs of amp?
4. Assuming there is an amp... would that mean the 'power' rating of any aftermarket HU would be insignificant and 'overridden' by the factory amp, and would the SQ of any aftermarket HU be any better then with the OEM stereo?
5. Is there a way to bypass the factory amp should I chose to do that?
