I cannot get my ac to blow out anywhere except out of the defroster panels. It seems to be cold. Any suggestions?

yes all my other functions work..heating vents and floors work just the a/c doesnt come out of the vents..but when i was driving last nite the a/c came out of the vents for alittle bit

My '03 had the same problem last year and I found a disconnected vacuum hose I had knocked loose why changing the spark plugs.

well since i have been using my a/c alot inotice that its comes threw the vents sometimes.but usually threw the defrost...it comes threw the vents in the back seats thoe!

I have a 2003 Explorer XLT, I get reasonably cold air out of the driver's side vents only, pasenger side seems warm, and the back kind of cool. A friend suggested an air line loose somewhere, but I have no idea where to look.

Mine was the line connected to a vacuum valve on the left side of the engine looking from the front.

Didn't I read something about "blend door" problems.
Maybe a search.

Same problem here

I just about to post and ran across this.

02 EB with same problem AC just coming out defroster.

I tried the heat floor/vents and viola AC appears to be operating correctly.
