'02 Explorer Limited 6-CD Model?

I'm a newbee to the forum and I'd really appreciate any help that anyone can lend in identifying just what AM-FM/6-CD Changer was installed stock in my 2002 Explorer Limited SUV. I want to replace the unit because the CD's failed. It looks like there may be no way to identify the model number directly without yanking the unit out of the dash to take a look. Apparently the VIN number won't serve to solve this mystery. I do know that the manual lists it as the 7 speaker "Audiophile" version with DSP. Thanks for any help you can lend!

radio comes out in the time it takes to type this, . . .or read it. . .
butter knife (to prevent denting the soft trim) around the edges and the dash bezel will pull out, two screws and the radio will pull out. Model on the back, also note what color the plugs are on the back side of the radio (black or grey)?

Also the model number is back there.

Another idea is to fix the changer. . . .usually it looks like this when jammed.
I fixed mine for $80 by just sending in the changer.

2002 Explorer Limited 6 CD Player Identified!

Well, I tried the butter knife approach but, was too afraid of damaging the dash bezel to apply much force. I think that bezel might be harder to replace than the CD changer!

I took the Explorer to Best Buy and they pulled out the changer at no charge. Here's what I found for anyone else with a 2002 Ford Explorer Limited. The CD changer is the 7 speaker Audiophile version 6 CD/radio with DSP and subwoofer. The relevent replacement part number is:
1L2F-18C815-BD. The CD changer itself appears to be coded as part
YL2F-18C821-AG.

Now, it's off to e-bay to find a replacement. Thanks for your help!

good luck with that. . .YL2F-18C821-AG not to be found a year ago, hope you have more luck. Repair was the only option then, found that on fleabay, $80.
