02 Explorer Rear driver power window issue

Hi i need help...rear driver power window when i lowered it fully it does not go up i can hear the motor working..when i press down and then up there is crunching noise...looks like something is broken...would appreciate help before i go to repair it..any suggestion from members who had this issue previously and can i do it myself or i will have to take it to workshop and how much should i expect to pay to fix it...

your window regulator is broken

so can i pull the window to the top and stop it some how? and if i want to fix it will this require a new power window?

you can probably get it to go up using your hand pulling up and maybe the up switch to untagle it, the problem is it will fall back down, so you would have to wedge something under the glass to hold it up once you get it up.

you need the metal assembly with cables the motor bolts to and the window is attached to.
