02 explorer sport radio harness

I have the powered sub with the pioneer 6 cd changer in dash. Its all stock but im trying to install a aftermarket radio and i want to tie the sub in. Does anyone know how to perform this by any chance? Any info would be helpful. Thx.

This is a piece of cake. You will need an installation kit and wiring harness. You can find them at www.installer.com or locally in many cases. Your only hang up will be the enable circuit for the subwoofer. Ford uses a 5V signal. Your aftermarket radio will be 12V. If you leave it 12V, it will make a horrible pop on turn on. A resistor can be used, but I highly recommend a voltage regulator: http://www.sminntech.com/ampinterface.html This will work fantastic and not have any oscillation issues, etc.
