I cant get a good angle on that thing. Do the bolts that connect to the cat come out at all or are they part of the cat assembly? I think I can get it if that bolt wasn't there. BTW, I drive a 91 Navajo. Thanks.

Brad

any ideas?

iF YOU ARE REPLACING IT USE A SOCKET AND CUT THE WIRES, THIS MAY GET YOU A BETTER ANGLE.

You should be able to get it with the right wrench, possibly cut the wrench in half and use a breaker bar???

I have never had a problem getting at them on an pre 95 Explorer/Explorer sport with just a wrench

They will lock themselves in there pretty well after a while. You should be able to get at it underneath the truck. Try to use a propane torch to get the fitting good and hot and then break it loose. When you reinstall make sure the sensor has plenty of anti-sieze on it.
