Just wondering about something. My newly aquired 02 Sport Exporer appears to squat in the rear end. I wouldn't have really noticed if my wife hadn't pointed out the difference in space between the fender and top of the tire. The front end has more clearance than the rear end. So it appears that the rear sits lower than the front. I notice that many Explorers sit this way, but that doesn't mean it's right. There doesn't appear to be anything loose or rattles, and the suspension doesn't bounce.

Is this normal or is there something that needs repair? Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. My guess is that this may be the design of the vehicle as soooooo many 2 door Explorers seem to have this look. I can't believe that leafs go bad after 3-4 years. It just seems unlikely to me as I've had some real pieces of crap in my day and the only good things left on those cars were the leafs.
The ride seems fine, maybe even a bit stiff, but the cosmetics just seem a bit off as it looks like we're driving uphill. Thanks again and I'm still hoping for a cure if I need one!
