02 tire problems

I just installed new tires on my 02 XLT. They are the Michelin Cross Terrains that came on the vehicle new. Now it feels like the 4X4 is trying to engage under moderate or hard acceleration. Anyone have any ideas. The local Ford dealer is no help.

I have cross terrains on mine with no problems. Isn't it always in 4x4auto? or are the '02s different?

it is auto 4 wheel drive..
I put close to 31 inch tires on my 2002 and no problems at all...

better check your speed sensors, sounds like they might be faulty. i have a 05' and 2 of my speed sensors have already died

Welcome to this forum! Are the front, and back tires the same size?
