02 X V8 to 03 X V6

How’s it going everyone,it’s been a long time since I have been on here. Well I have a 03 X limited 4.0 V6 and I can get a 02 X limited 4.6 V8 from a friend... can I use everything off and out the truck ?? And tranny ?? Thanks

No to trans.
It’s not the same 5r55 and the housing won’t bolt up.

Thanks, so how about everything else as far as axles and alternator and starter and just about everything I would use if I’m able too.

You would need the cluster and ecm too.
