03 Cobra Wheels and tires.

Ok i have been on gefracing.com and found the 2003 Cobra wheels and i liek them alot. There 17x9 like the older wheels would these fit the same. Oh and is there any problem with them fitting like rubbing and do they need spacers or something. I am lowered with a torsion twist in front the bolts are all the way out. Also what kind of tires and sizes would you guys say get i have something like 275/75 R15's now i think. I hope to get them soon so any help would be great.

I dont think they fit, 02sport tried em on his truck and said they totally didnt fit

Well crap then that would mean that no 17x9 cobra wheels would fit the new Explorer Sports or maybe he just didn't get the spacer's or would the lug pattern be different now.

Come on guys i need some help here i would like some kind of 17x9 wheel i need to get them soon because the tires i have now need replacing but i would rather use my tax money on new wheels and tires.

you could always buy the wheels, have the lug holes filled in and have a GOOD shop redrill new ones for you

cobra rims

I saw a set of 95 cobra R rims on a 2001 sporttrack they were 17x9's. Look on explorersporttruck.com and it should be under Brian Greens 01 sport track. Hope this helps.

Shouldn't they be the same lub pattern as the older Cobra Wheels or did the new mustangs get a different lug pattern now.

the newer mustangs have the same 5 on 4.5 lug pattern. i assume that they wont fit because the hole in the center is too small for the hub to fit through. the 03 Cobra's are relativly new on the aftermarket, so email or PM 02sport and see what wheel he actually tried to fit, and why it didnt, and go from there.

I just bought some 18x9 and they dont fit right because the hub is too big but I think If I get spacers they will
