Just bought the truck and the ABS Light has popped on. What things would cause this and how do I fix?
Thanks.

Mine came on just after I bought it also...turned out to be a right rear abs wheel sensor. Mine was under warranty, so I just took it to the dealer and they popped a new one in no charge.

04' Ex. also rear ABS sensor at 20k. Ran Codes to find out. It would come on occasionally at first but then it came on for good.

same thing happened to me. and if the light isn't on when u take it in to the dealership they won't even look at it. it could be one of 3 things. you could be low on brake fluid (on the newer vehicles just a little below the full line can cause it to come on as was the case with mine, you may need new brake pads, or you may need to bleed the brake lines

One thing to do if its an elusive problem is to Take a picture or a video recording. I didn't need it but when I went in I had a picture on my phone with the ABS light on and the speedo at 50mph. Can't argue with that.
