04 4.6l timing jump

Timing jumped to the point of shutoff. What are the chances my motor's shot? At this point I'm leveraging Buying a new(to me) expo, repairing whatever damage the mechanic turns up or buying a new motor. Anyone Jumped time on a 3rd gen 4.6l?

If the engine won’t crank or there’s no compression, you can bet the valves are bent. Maybe even a piston broke. You may be better off buying a 4.6 out of a Crown Vic from some place like LKQ.
