i recently got my hands on an alpine type x 10" sub for only $88 which is a steal.(retail value is $450). it was the floor model at a local shop. anyway, i decided i wanted to get creative while installing this. i am not completely done (obviously), but should be within the next couple days. i liked the idea of the jl audio stealthbox, but paying that much for something i can just build is ridiculous. i did have to cut out part of a panel in the cargo area, but it will be covered by the box. here are some pics, and i will update pics when i am done.
the first pic is of the area where the box is going(i had to cut out that whole "cubby" thing because the magnet on my sub wouldnt fit in there. the next few pics are just different angles of the box. it is going to be covered in vinyl that is the same color as the interior plastic.
