04 EB Steering Wheel controls acting up

For awhile now when pressing the Volume +/- on the steering wheel the radio will actually change stations instead of adjusting volume. For awhile it would actually do something random but consistently now changes the channel. Any ideas what the problem is, what is needed to troubleshoot, or what I need to replace? It's not a huge deal, in fact we've just learned to stop using the buttons but it sure would be nice to have them working again. Seems that all of the climate control and cruise buttons still work fine, fortunately.

Just get a new switch, or see if you can pull it apart and clean the contacts.
All it is a a resistive switch, one button is 73ohms while the next is 50ohms they all plug into one wire.
