I have a 2004 explorer. I discovered an unconnected electrical connection hanging down from under my dashboard, dangling by the brake pedal. I have no idea what it is for or where it plugs in.

The info on the plug is as follows:

INSP 29 (printed on one side)

747420
ZETA 45/05 (printed on the other side of the plug)

Any help or ideas what this is for and where it goes?

The car runs fine with no apparent malfunctions.

Many thanks

Jake in Tucson.

Trailer brake connection?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. You could be right. Since all is operating with no apparent malfunctions, I'm thinking now the wire/plug connector might be for an optional accessory that my model is not equipped with thus it is not used or needed. I hope I'm right anyway.:)

Appreciate the reply.

Jake
