Today, i did my first oil change on my explorer by myself just using video guides. It was extremely simple, so I decided to go a step forward and clean out the oil pan.
When I removed the oil pan there was several white plastic pieces all broken up. I'm not sure what these are but I removed all the sludes and the plastic pieces.
Next I tried to clean my coolant reservoir, because there is like orange sludge in it. However I could not remove it because I could not access the bolt near the air filter housing.
However while figuring out how to remove the bolts, I removed the clamps on the hose (the top one), and all the reservoir coolant leaked out, I'm not sure how this is possible because I did not remove the bottom hose.
Please help
