I have searched and not really found any info on replacing pump. I am DIY'er and would love to do this myself. If any of you could point my nose in the right direction would be great! Thanks!

Are you looking for instructions or where to get the part ?

When I pulled my engine out, it seems that the best access is thru the wheel well.
Remove the wheel and the liner, the pump is held on 3 or 4 studs with 10 mm nuts. Mine was a nightmare to remove since the studs were seized inside the pump casing and took me a lot of heat and banging to get them out. I almost ordered new ones from ford.

If you find instructions for any 4.6/5.4 (F150, CrownVic, ...) the procedure should be almost the same.
Check youtube

Thanks for the response, i can source the part. I guess my main question was how hard is it to do. Going in through the wheel sounds logical. Is there a special bleeding procedure. With reservoir up high i would think the air would be easy to get out.

The hardest part was to slide it off those studs. Lots of heat and air hammer, and that was with the engine out hanging on the hoist. It may be more difficult in the car. We just sucked the fluid from the reservoir, disconnect the hoses, then just reconnected back and fill in the fluid from the top. No special bleeding done.
I hope your is not stuck.

Well I feel like a goof!!!! Come to find out it was the ribbed pulley that I didn't know about. Heck of a lot cheaper tan a pump!
