07 SPort Trac shifting problems

I have an 2007 sport trac 4x4 4.6v8 with the 6R60 trans. I seems that when cruzing in overdrive, when i start up on the hill, it starts to bang in and out of gear. Like it cannot decide to down shift or stay in OD. Also when you take off from a stop, it seems to bang into gear. also if you encounter slippery roads, when the 4x4 auto engages, it sometimes does not sound so nice. Anyone else have these issues and more importantly how can I fix. Thanks Rick.

Sorry, First gen owner... don't have any good info on this. ...except to say you are not alone, I have heard of this complaint before and I believe there is a reasonable solution.
