Ordered the set off eBay for 89$ shipped, yeah they're probably not the nicest set, but hey they work, and its way better than the stock bulbs.

They are the 10,000k
I hope they get a little more color to them, I was sketchy about ordering the 8000k ones thinking those might be too blue, but my uncle ordered 10,000k and I thought those were perfect, his are way bluer than mine, but I heard that they have like a 50 hour break-in period, the longer they're on the bluer they'll get (up to a certain point at least)

They were way easier to install than I thought, it took me about an hour and a half, only because I quickly wired them up to make sure they worked, then my neighbor was like holy **** those are bright so he walked over, and we bs'ed for about 10 minutes.

I put them in my 92, and the ballasts were the hardest part, running all the wires, and the connections was about a 5 minute job, but there was like literally no-where to mount those big ballasts, but I finally figured out a spot, and installation was a snap from there.

I aimed my housings all the way down, but I did order the 6 pc. diamond cut set, (headlights, blinkers, and the 2 reflectors, all clear)

My housings arent in bad shape, but theyve seen better days, and I didnt wanna get the clear blinkers w/o the headlights.

I have a set of fog lights, just a cheapie set, and they were so bright with my stock headlights, but now im not even gonna use them cus theyre so dark and "yellow" lol

(BTW These are the Dual-Beam (Bi-Xenon))

(Here was a pic with my stock headlights in, they dont even look bad until you compare them to the halogens, look at the foglights, they look bright and white, until you actually see them up with the HIDs)

The pics really do no justice as to how bright, and white/blue these actually are, it would be a well worth buy, even if I had to spend like 250$

I cant wait to get on the road, and try them in the morning when its still dark, ill get some pics up tomorrow night of what they look like on the road.

I cant wait now to get the clear housings and blinkers :D Ill deff. get pics up of that too, I ordered them today, I should have them by next monday

thanks

as they are on more, im starting to see more color, cus theres that 50 hour break in period, and they say you wont see full color until theyre broke in

i wish i can get hids for my sport but i am dead broke i need to save up some money

Yeah man, i just finally tested them out on the road at night, and WOW I would have seriously paid like 300$ if i had to for them, but luckily now theyre only like 90$, if you get the single beams theyre like 20-30$ cheaper, go for it man, asap, youll love them i promise
haha

how old are you?
im 16

i am 28 will be 29 in august 20th

I have the same birthday only mine was in '64.

Welcome. :p:

LOL, your a bit older than sam

im 16, may 10, so almost 17

I was born in 92, and that year may 10 was mothers day, and this year it also falls on mothers day

I just hooked the HIDs up to this wireless 4 port switch ive had for a while, ive had my fogs hooked up to it, its got a little 4 button remote that i got on my keychain, and as you can see in the video, the bulbs are getting more color now that theyve been broken in a little.

pretty cool huh :p

(theyre just wired from the switch to the ballasts, where the old headlight socket plugs in, so just the HIDs turn on when i press the button, good for bein stealthy i can turn my lights off and just turn the HIDs on haha ;))

Those don't look 10,000k they look more like a 8000k....the higher the number the darker the color also the less the light output.....Check out my pics...the pics are before my new 55w bixenon heads...they're of the 35w 8000k headlight and the 3000k yellow fogs.........FOGS: http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i319/itallian1488/Newfogson.jpg check[/url] out this hid color scale as well http://www.delonixradar.com.au/hid-xenon/colour-chart.php

Edit..the higher the number the darker the color starting from a base white
6000K, lower than that 4300K down to 3000K starts to get more yellow as it gets lower.

yeah i know, they still havent reached theyre full color yet, ive really only used them like 3 nights now for like 25 mins each, my uncle has the same exact bulbs, his are way bluer, hes had his since like winter time

What are your thoughts on the 55w HID? I might change my 35w out for 55w

Omg, those would be so bright!
Any links to them? Id love to see some...

I never heard of 55watts...

I never heard of 55watts...

Many sellers have 55w. They're brighter, but they burn hotter (so not recommended in all enclosures) and don't show colour as much as their 35w counterparts. You wouldn't get the nice pretty blue colour you crave so much. I've seen sellers admit that if you order even up to 10,000K bulbs in 55 watt, they won't look very blue. You're already getting flashed by oncoming traffic with what you have now. Just think of how many people you could blind with those!

They're not for everyone. 35 watt kits throw enough light as it is in most cases. You'd need both new ballasts and bulbs to make it happen. I've also heard of questionable reliability with the 55 watt kits. The "you get what you pay for" mantra seems to really hold true with them. I considered this option a while back with my old Diamond Cuts but didn't want to piss people off with more glare than I already had. I can't even use them with my projectors (The Group Buy guy told us we'd melt the projectors).

Ah they sound crazy, and crappy at the same time haha.

I just got my diamond cuts put on yesterday, my HIDs look way better in them.
But yeah ive only gotten flashed once lol

Where did you get that wireless 4 channel fob? Is it part of your alarm/keyless entry? Thanks!

At AutoZone, thats the only place ive ever seen it, its like a small black box, with an 8 wire harness coming out of it (2 wires per button) and then a red and blacl for power, and a thicker black 12" or so long antenna, with a small 4 button remote with an extendable antenna it was 29.99$ if i recal.. its worth it!

HI, I always wanted to do this! Looks really nice! Where did you get the kit for 89$ (35W)

First sentence of the post.....Ebay.

They got a bunch of them on there. Probably all manufactured by the same Co.

This is not a recommendation, just an observation.
