LMAO! That fits me perfectly. Our 99 only has 19,000 miles on it. I drive my Jeep to work and my wife drives my S10 to work. The Mustang and the Explorer sit in the garage most of the time. We use the Explorer when we go on trips, etc.

My 94 has 114k on it and still running strong. I need a good radiator however, the plastic ones from Mexico suck.

Last friday I just hit 180,000 miles on my 95' and shes still thankfully going strong. KNock on wood I haven't had to do any major things to it as of yet.

I figured when I hit every milestone.. that the truck should be off-road..

Here is the truck @ 275,000 miles (2 weeks ago)..

An old friend no more

Hi everyone, my 91 Explorer EB had 325,002 when a telephone pole and i had a meeting late one night. It was about two months ago and a part of the steering just let go it was about 45 mph and i sheared the pole right off. The only thing wrong with the car was the hood on first inspection. It was not that bad i just got out was like crap! I broke my fog lights. But little did i know that i had nailed the right front frame member and diamoned it about a foot back so i was screwed. It was the best car that anyone could have ever asked for. It was oxford white with the tan trim and had everything in it. Was never in a wreck and never damaged. Original motor, original tranny, just basic stuff like alternators, and a few gaskets. Strong 4x4 i tell ya. It was a shame to let her go. Ill post a pic when i get the chance.

Jon

p.s. new 97 XLT in the making, first mod, getting rid of that auto 4x4, yes the yellow wire, not the brown wire o well ill figure it out!

150,000 Kms Today

Guy's i just hit 150,000 Kms today and have done the manifold gasket and o rings twice, cam chain tensioner twice, oil pump, something with the transmission (under warranty) the OD was flashing on the dash, and that's about all i can think of! it's a 97 4.0L SOHC XLT

I'm less than 10,000 miles from joining the 200,000 mile club... Still got original everything also... I do need to change the head gaskets though...

my 98 has 123,000 miles on it... and my dads 99 limited has like 110,000 miles

hay whats up guys i have a 92 ex auto with 378,000 and never replaced my tranny or eng and still run on a lot of org parts and i live in pot hole city bronx, new york

My 94 hit 100K last month.
Came back strong after surviving a pretty decent accident a while back ..... like a trooper
Great cruiser! Cheap too keep.

Its getting a little tired now but was always well attended.
Recently replaced intake manifold, clutch and, now, I think a head gasket may be needed.
As far I'm concerned "circa 94" are the best (best looking too)
Call me silly .... everytime I see one .... they just don't look old!

'95 XLT with 155,000 miles.

Besides oil, oil filters, one set of plugs, and three air filters:

1 Transmission pan gasket - $140
2 Transmission housing seal - $135
3 Rear differential seal - $140

I'm on my third set of tires and they only have 15,000 miles. I got 110,000 miles out of a set of Michelin LXTs and could have gotten another 10,000+.

well my 94 is sitting on 105k. I've done the usual maintenance, plugs, oil, etc. I replaced the R.A. bushings this summer and the auto locking hubs just went out about christmas. Have the warn conversion kit sitting in the garage. Weather just hasn't been conducive to working on it. overall I'm happy, just waiting for the excuse to put a 302 in her, the 4.0 is dependable, but boring.

:chug: :chug:

113,000 , and still strong . It has a factory trans cooler and it seems to make a difference , according to the posts . Typical x problems as usual , auto hubs changed at 60,000 , rear u joints at 90,000 , real bad , and a few sensors , shocks , tires , and just maintanance stuff .I think ill get another 100k easily.

157,000 and purrs like a kitten! Had to replace the 4x4 motor (no amount of clening helped), had the tires re-balanced(3 oz out when i bought it 3 weeks ago), alignment, and will need shocks very soon. All power options work, with the exception of A/C. Will probably need to find leak, fix and refill. The Ex/Jo only had 2previous owners, and appears to have been babied!
