'12 Ex needs brakes w/14K miles!?

brake problems

We have a 2013 ford explorer. The brakes are already bad and need changing. It had 21,000 miles when we bought it and now has 27,000 miles. Is this normal?

If it is the rear brakes that are bad, there is a long thread on the forum about rear brakes dragging and overheating on 2011 - 2015 Explorers. Just check through the forum and you'll find it.

The brakes on my 11 Ex are pulsating too. Out of warrantee. How much should I expect to pay for rotor turning? I have less than 30K miles too.
