15's on an 01 sport?

has anyone fit 15" wheels on the front of an 01 sport, or are the calipers too big. i don't want to drop a grand on wheels and tires and not have them fit. Has anyone fit 33x12.50's on an 01 with the 4" superlift, and if so did they rub or need fender trimming? info on backspacing would be appreciated also.

Most 01 sports come with 15" wheels stock. The 16" was an option

Yes. I saw one the other day here with 15x10's and 295/50's..... if you can imagine what it looked like. Kinda wish i had my camera with me.

They did upgrade them I believe at some point to bigger calipers. That might have been the sport trac though. I'm not sure. Go to a shop and have them test fit 15s and see what happens. Most shops will do that.
