I know I know there are tons of posts about but I think my situation is different. I have a 00 XLT 4.0 OHV. 110K The CEL came on about a month ago with 171 only for about 2 weeks now both codes are coming on and I dont know what to do.
The truck runs rough when warm and it almost feels like it wants to stall but never has yet. When I start the truck it revs high but then back to normal range when warm. This is what baffles me when the AC is on it runs great and the idle is fine... I have noticed ping under load and a what sounds like a slight lifter tap during idle.
I have cleaned MAF twice
I have changed PCV and checked all vacuum lines
I have Replaced a damaged vacuum line that is right underneath the throttle body and goes down to a canister in front left under battery (hose was bad)
I have used 1/4 can of sea foam through PCV hose
I have cleaned the AIC with MAF cleaner.
I have replaced the fuel filter
I have replaced the air filter with K & N about 5k miles ago.
I tried spraying throttle body cleaner around the manifold and didn't notice any difference in revs.
What do i do next change the upper manifold gasket? Any help would be greatly appreciated
