Hey guys, I was thinking of getting larger rims and tires and I was wondering what was the most popular choice of tire. And do you guys run them all year long or change back to the factory rims for the winter.

Thanks

Dubs would definitely look good on your Limited!

ebay sucks for wheels, go look at a shop

17's are really popular cuz theyre cheap now (back in the day, they were untouchable, heh.) and now that 17's come stock on some vehicles, tires are readily available.

if i were you, and you want either a 17 or 18, id go with 18's. i have 17's, but situations are different. i would love to actually get 20s in a year or so. my point is: get the biggest rims youre comfortable with, cuz it wont be long before you say to yourself, 'i want bigger rims!' :D

I dont think you would be safe going with anything less than 20". I like the first rim that black magic posted those are tight. Or I recommend kmc lol. The cheapest place i've found for rims are RimDogg1@aol.com thats where i bought mine from. 20" kmc with the goodyear tires $2400 shipped to my door mounted and balanced

matt he said 17's or 18's enough with the 20's! ;)
not everyone likes ghetto

ok the above was just me being sarcastic ...

if your looking for something nice in 18 take a look at mine via the link in my sig. these wont break the bank too much. the whole package was under $2000.

Thanks for all of the comments...I am pretty sure that I am going with 18's even though 20's are not out of the question if I see something that I really like. But...what I really wanted to know from those with after market rims and tires....is what manufacturer of rubber did you go with? And do you run them in the winter also?

I do. I put some klasse wax on the rims. It helps with the salt during the winter.

I just got a flat today  and had to get it fixed blah oh well. stupid screw!

edited: I use toyo proxys s/t tires and american racing wheels (jammer). 285/60R18's

i have pirelli scorpion zeroes and i run them all year long :)

KODEBLU you have PM

For 18's what do you need to look for in terms of offset, are the offsets that fit 17's the same as 18's.

its all gonna depend on the width of the wheel in question. basically, any RWD offset will work fine. just look at 18"s for a RWD vehicle, and you'll be set.
