1991 Explorer. A/C recharge.

so im trying to recharge the A/C in my 1991 XLT and im wondering if its just as simple as putting in new refrigerant because the connections for recharge us right under the hood.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the A/C & heater section. It's possible that there might be a leak if it's completely empty. Connect a manifold gauge set to check the pressure.
