1992 A4LD transmission solenoid question

Every TCC that I've come across has that U shaped bracket already attached to it. They don't sell the bracket separately. Check the front of the solenoid to see if it has one large opening or two small openings.

My valve body gaskets arrived in the mail Saturday. I'll be able to use them Monday morning. I'll have the valve body out and take the solenoids out and really take a good look at them.
@BrooklynBay @410Fortune If mine had a bracket on the TCC solenoid, there wouldn't be anything to attach it to, except maybe the one vb bolt hole on the front corner. I'm wondering if the bracket is unique to the early A4LDs with the one solenoid like in the 1985 Mustang, Ranger, Bronco II transmissions?
Like I said, I wont be able to look at it until Monay morning. Today, Sunday, me and the Wife are driving up into Tennessee to see about half of the grandchildren, (and their parents too).
BTW here is a pic of the Pioneer parts. No markings on the parts or instructions. I did notice that both parts were sprayed with Cosmoline before they were packaged.

I'm looking at RockAuto and I seem to be finding misinformation or errors. I expected to find an A4LD in the Mustang and Ranger 4 cyl vehicles that came with the single solenoid A4LDs. When I did find A4LDs, in the upper 80's, all I could find was a transmission showing to use two solenoids. @410Fortune @BrooklynBay I know both of you guys have probably taken A4LDs out of say a 1987 Aerostar or a 1987 Bronco II that had just one solenoid?

"Best I can tell from ATSG manual, the changeover date for single to dual solenoid versions occurred in mid '88 The single solenoid originally on the trans 85-87 controls only the TC lockup function. Later models had the 3-4 shift inhibit solenoid added in 88. And I have both a 90 2.9 A4LD and a 93 Explorer A4LD here, both have the dual solenoid setup."

I had no idea! the only A4LD I ever dealt with was 91-94 behind the 4.0, two solenoids

@BrooklynBay @410Fortune I took the valve body out. I got the two solenoids that I took out late last week and because the male spade contacts were pointing towards each other I was able to determine which was where in the valve body. Here is a picture of the first two. It looks like the TCC solenoid has the smaller hole that plugs into the VB. And no tab too. I think someone has changed these before because I really expected to see Ford part numbers on them.

@BrooklynBay One off the 2 old ones checked out bad. The 2 new ones are in spec. I'm saving the old good one for my '91 4 dr 4x4. That I'm refurbishing to drive to Colorado.
