1992 Aerostar clock spring.

hi,

i'm a new member that owns a 92 eddie bauer aerostar. it has all the symptoms of a clockspring, aka air bag sliding contact. symptoms are no horn, cruise and air bag light is on.
has anyone had any experience with one of these and is there any place to buy one besides a dealer ? i can't seem to find one at any of the aftermarket suppliers.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the Aerostar section. WWW.RockAuto.Com sells them. There is a coupon code in the vendors section to save 5%. You have to disconnect the battery, and wait for a minimum of 10 minutes before you remove the steering wheel with the air bag. Do you know what the SRS code number is?
