Kind of hard to diagnosis with a generic inquire as “4x4 won’t work” Please elaborate.

Check out this thread: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=202166 Using that you should be able to diagnose and fix your problem. Most likely the problem is your shift motor. I have fixed mine twice
