I've got a '93 XLT 2WD, I was wondering if this kind of lift setup would work and what might need to be added

Front:

2" Lifted Skyjacker Coil Springs + 2" Coil Spring Spacers

Rear:

2" add-a-leafs + 2" schackles

Body:

3" Body Lift

Would I actually be able to just combine all those and get probably about 6" of lift or will some of the stuff not work together. Also, if it would work are there any kind of brackets or brake lines or anything that I would need to ensure safety??

I was condidering all this because I'm on an extremely scarce budget. And would still like to run at least 32' with plenty of clearance.

The front would not work unless you planned on getting some axle drop brackets. Your front tires would be sitting like this \ /, instead of like this | |. For the rear, it would be cheaper just to buy some spring perches and do an SOA, but then of course your rear end would be sitting a little bit higher than the front. Unless you decided to take the extra cash and buy the front end parts for a 6" lift. Or do a 4" lift with coil spacers to pick it up more. Either way, you will need axle drop brackets. Unless you went with a body lift.

so the cheapest way without doing the axle drop brackets would be to get the 2" sky jacker and then the 3" body??

or would I get just as much out of doing the coil spacers + shackles and the 3" body lift??

Are you buying the 2" Skyjacker as a kit, or are you just getting the coils? Because if it is a kit, then I know you would be fine going that route with a body lift. But if its just the coils, I have no idea how high you can go before you start having camber issues on stock axle brackets. Either way though, a body lift would work.

I'm pretty sure that 2"s is the most you can lift w/o axle drop brackets. You mentioned the Skyjacker lift...i'm pretty sure that that kit comes with the drop brackets (might want to make sure of that). If you do get the kit and it comes with the drop bracket (%98 sure it does) then you could put on the f-150 spacers to bump the front up another 1(5/8)". I'm pretty sure that with almost 4" of lift you'll need to get new brake lines, or course shocks also. With the 3" bl you should be abit over 6" total lift. Hope that helps!

The Skyjacker kit does not come with brackets. Just new coils and add-a-leafs, not worth the money. Better of getting spacers and warriors unless you go to a 4"-6"" with an SOA. Then you'll need brakelines and pitman arm and front shocks.
