Would this make a good lift combo or a recipe for disaster?

You dont have coil springs, you have torsion bars. Search out a TT (torsion twist) for a little front lift.

The add a leafs & lift shackles will lift the rear a couple inches.

To get more clearance for bigger tires, use a body lift. With this combo (depending on size of BL) you can fit 33" tires, with minor trimming.

O lol berly bought it dident even know about the springs lol so the rest is ok to install (besides the spring spacers & springs lol) thanks btw what's a BL & what kind of body lift I try searching & it skips my year 1995:thumbsup:

You don't need the torsion keys, either. Just twist the torsion bars. Search torsion twist. My body lift is different, search the 1995-2001 forum for the body lift.

Id say a fabtech lift spindle and a add a leaf in the rear. You can fit 33s on an aftermarket 15x7 wheel 0 offset

Thank you ill check it out ! & ill get back to ya guys on the tires first lift :thumbsup::D

BL=Body Lift.

I used the 3" PA 853 on the 95. You will have to make bumper brackets for the front with this kit. I'm not sure which other kits have different bumper brackets, ya need to search a bit here.

Be careful! Not all 15s fit over the Sport Trac calipers. Not sure if that's the case for for a '95 Explorer or not. Hopefully somebody will fill you in on that.

got it I'll take it to the tire shop for the help instead of ordering them :D:thumbsup:

Ya, the largest rotor Explorers/Edges/ST's run are 11.25" and a 15 fits on all.

I guarantee you all 15s do not fit on Sport Tracs. I have a set of Outlaw IIs that don't fit. Other Sport Trac owners have had similar problems.

Let me ad to this since I have a '97 Mounty with factory 15's and a lifted '03 Sport Trac with 15x8 Cragar Soft 8's with 4" backspacing. Certain 15" wheels will clear the calipers and hubs. Here's pictures for reference....

Didn't some of the Sport Tracs come with 15s stock? I know some, probably most, 15s will fit. I just wanted to throw out there that they may not all fit in case I could prevent a purchase that doesn't work out. Maybe on Explorers, they will all fit. I don't know. The consensus seems to be that they do.
